What others are saying
This campground is a hidden gem, located in a city park and perfect for self-contained campers. It is very peaceful and quiet, with lots of room to walk dogs and a fishing pond for locals to visit during the day. The campground has recently been improved, with the pot holes in the road repaired and the sewer connections now mostly at ground height with screw on tops instead of being left open. The RV sites are easy to get into and large enough for rigs up to 46 feet long. The only downside is the small one stall bathroom with shower, which is not very clean. The toilet was clogged and overflowing, the shower was nasty, the shower curtain was moldy, and there was no soap or trash can. The campground also hosted a Harvest Festival with vendors, music, and a hot air balloon glow during our stay. The sunrises over the little lake are beautiful, and the campground is well maintained with trees planted to provide shade in a couple of years.

From The Campground
Paulk Park RV & Tent Campground is located in Fitzgerald, GA. The campground features 24 RV lakeside sites with 30/50 amp pedestals, water & sewer connections, and a dump station. There are also 35 tent-camping sites available. Restroom, shower, and laundry facilities are provided. The campground is situated next to a 5-acre lake stocked with bream, bass, and catfish. Amenities include a shelter with picnic table, dock, boat ramp (trolling motors only, please), picnic shelters, and a nature trail. The RV rental fee is $30/night and the tent rental fee is $10/night.
