Indian Springs State Park is a beautiful and historic park located in Georgia. The park is home to a variety of activities, including mountain biking and hiking trails, a beach to swim, mini golf, museums, and a tranquil creek. The campground is well-maintained and offers large and wooded sites, a playground for children, a nature trail, and a miniature golf course. There is also a stone Spring House built by the CCC during the Depression, where visitors can fill plastic bottles of the water to take home. The park also offers a variety of wildlife, including bears, mountain lions, beavers, bison, deer, owls, eagles, and hawks. The park is very popular and reservations are recommended, as it is often booked months in advance. There is a Visitors Center, a museum, a camp store, and a fresh water supply, as well as a dump station. Cell signal is minimal, but Verizon service is available. There is also a BBQ place nearby, as well as a few shops outside the park with limited groceries. Indian Springs is the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing camping trip, and is sure to provide a memorable experience.

From The Campground
Indian Springs State Park offers a variety of activities for visitors to enjoy, including biking, boating, fishing, hiking, paddling, picnicking, and miniature golf. The park also features a museum, boat ramp, playground, and Wi-Fi available in the park office. Visitors can stay overnight in the Indian Springs Cottage #8 or the group camp that sleeps 130 people. The park is also available for weddings with park approval required. Nearby attractions include Ball's Ferry, Dames Ferry Campground, Dauset Trails, High Falls State Park, Jarrell Plantation State Historic Site, Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge, The Village at Indian Springs, Cedar Creek WMA, Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center, Clybel WMA, and Marben PFA. The park is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is $5 per vehicle and annual passes are available. Overnight guests pay a daily ParkPass fee only once per vehicle during their stay, regardless of duration. Reservation policies can be found by calling 800-864-7275.
