There are good eating places nearby that serve southern food and the park is a great spot for those who like to watch trains. However, the parks Wi-Fi is inconsistent and low bandwidth. While Folkston is a small town , it has the usual fast food restaurants, as well as local eateries and hardware stores with a good selection of RV parts.

Jenny Ridge is a year-round RV park located in south-east Georgia, offering 55 paved sites with city water and sewer. The park can accommodate up to 100ft RV's, with 44 pull-thru and 11 back-in spaces & 20/30/50 amp service with full hookups. The park is handicap accessible and has a laundry facility onsite. The park is conveniently located near groceries, fuel, gift shops, and local eateries. Guests can enjoy amenities such as event venue, restrooms, showers, laundry facility, Wi-Fi access, propane, ice, picnic tables, fire rings, dog park, fishing, horseshoes, and nature trail. The park is located near numerous attractions and conveniences, including train watching, Cumberland Island, Okefenokee Swamp, Jacksonville Zoo, Jekyll Island, and Historic St. Mary's.
