Traders Hill Campground in Folkston, GA offers a secluded and peaceful camping experience surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The flat and sandy campground features some magnificent and strategically placed Magnolia trees mixed with the black and red soil of Georgia. The Spanish moss-draped ancient Oaks and Cypress, along with the twisty little river joints, slowly lead you down the very murky dark waters of the St. Marys River, the natural divide between Florida and Georgia. While the campground is somewhat rustic and lacks the basic amenities that tent campers may prefer, RV campers will find all the basic amenities are covered with flat pebble-strewn slabs and electric, water and sewage hookups. The restroom and shower facilities may not be first class, but dry bathing alternatives exist. Overall, the easy water access to the St. Marys River is one of the best things about the campground. Visitors can dip their kayak or canoe for a 30-45 minute paddling experience or explore the peaceful and enchanting body of water for hours. Traders Hill Campground is a magical experience waiting for camping enthusiasts to discover and enjoy. Happy Camping!
