What others are saying about this campground
Cotton Hill is a great campground maintained by COE. The campground offers a variety of sites, some closer together and less private along the beach and others well spaced with shade trees and plenty of vegetation. Large, low-riding rigs might have some difficulty in some spots though. The Pine Island and Marina View Loops have better views of the lake and dam, but the bathhouses are small and not convenient to most of the sites. Most bathhouses are clean but dated with limited privacy in the showers. The campground is mostly quiet, and the staff is friendly. During a May visit, there were no issues whereas in August, chiggers were picked up due to the tall grass abutting the lake. One should take precautions if visiting. Suttons Corner Museum is a nearby attraction. The campground has a large beautiful lake, nice beach area, and playground. The tent camping area is ok. Several site drives are steep, so trailer tongues might drag. There is a 3.5 miles biking trail through the camping loops.
