North Shore Landing is a campground located on the shores of Lake Oconee in Georgia. It offers a range of amenities, including tent sites, cabins, RVs, and RV sites, an activity center, a swimming pool, beach access, a laundromat, and a dog park. The campground is close to I-20, and the noise from the highway can be heard throughout the campground. The roads are narrow and the site pads are in disrepair, but the lake and wildlife are exceptional. The pool, clubhouse, and 24 hour laundry are great amenities, but the sites are not level and the pull-throughs are difficult to navigate. Cell service is good and there is no cable, but the staff are friendly and accommodating. There are two pools, a clubhouse, camp store, laundry, fishing, and a boat launch, but the roads are hilly and narrow with sharp turns, making it difficult for larger rigs to back into sites. The campground requires that you unhitch your tow vehicle prior to entry. The sites are tiered on hillsides and have a unique view of the lake, but some of them are too small and inaccessible for larger RVs. The staff are helpful and accommodating, but the presentation is vague and the cost of membership is expensive. Despite the drawbacks, North Shore Landing is a great place to stay for an overnight stay and offers a beautiful view of the lake.
