What others are saying about this campground
Georgia Power Park is a hidden gem on Lake Oconee that offers a peaceful and relaxing camping experience. With spacious sites, level gravel beds, and plenty of shade trees, you can enjoy a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The park offers a boat ramp, beach, playgrounds, and laundry facilities for guests to enjoy. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, and the campground host, Jeannie and Danny, are friendly and helpful. The park is also conveniently located near town for groceries, food, and fuel. Although the campsites are not on the water, you can bring your boat or kayak to take advantage of the boat pier. Unfortunately, the park is prone to sugar ants, so be sure to bring bug spray. All in all, Georgia Power Park is a great place to stay for a weekend of camping and fishing.
