Watsadler Campground is a US Army Corps of Engineer (CoE) campground located close to the border between Georgia and South Carolina. It is a nicely maintained campground with large sites and generous spacing between them. Most sites offer a lake view and are equipped with water and electric. The campground also has a playground for children, a bath house near the dump station, and a marina close by for boat and kayak rentals. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the campground is open year-round. However, the campground does not provide access to the gate after hours, and cars not belonging to the site must be moved. Additionally, the site surface is sandy crushed rock that tracks and splashes when it rains. There is also a problem with ants, so be prepared to treat your site with chemicals. Despite these drawbacks, Watsadler Campground is a peaceful and scenic spot with plenty of activities for the whole family.
