This family-friendly campground is located conveniently close to Interstate 75 and offers a variety of activities for all ages. There are paved roads for biking, multiple bath houses, playgrounds, a pool, paddle boat rentals, and a mini golf course. The 600+ acre lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, boating, and kayaking, with rentals available at the nearby Indian Springs State Park. The campground also features fire pits, restrooms, and easy hiking trails along the falls. Sites include tables, fire rings, and lantern hooks, and the campground is gated for added security. Unfortunately, leeches in the water prohibit swimming, and there are some issues with ants. WiFi signal is poor, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The area also has a variety of historic hydro-electric areas to explore and scenic streams for fishing and skipping rocks.
