However, guests must throw away dog waste in a dumpster at the front or center of the park. The map of the campground needs updating, as it does not match up with the location of several facilities. Laundry machines are available, but an app that would have made the currency process easier is not available for customers who have non-US addresses. The limited grocery supply in the area may require campers to come prepared. Despite the limited spacing between campsites, Jekyll Island is a fun place for exploration, with sites like Driftwood Beach, fishing piers, and the historical district. Biking around the Island is a must, as there is a bike path offering picturesque views of the scenery.

Amenities include free WiFi, two bathhouses with toilets & hot-water showers, on-site laundry with coin-operated washers & dryers, electricity (30 & 50 amps), TV, water, and sewer available, general store for RV supplies, firewood, propane, ice, and personal items, climate-controlled special event pavilion with seating for up to 164 guests, bike rentals, bird sanctuary, and pet friendly.
