What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a great spot for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. It is located in a rural, wooded setting with sites that are all pull-throughs. The sites are close together, but the abundance of trees helps provide some privacy. The bathhouse is clean and adequate. The owners are very nice and friendly, but they did not mention the mosquito issue when we called for a reservation. There is no wifi, no cable, and too many trees for the dish to get a signal, so it is a little too far off the grid for more than a couple of days. Verizon Wireless had 3 bar signal and satellite TV in this section was no problem. There is a large communal fire ring and covered eating area. Sybils Family Restaurant in nearby Jesup is a great place to visit.

Mossy Oaks RV Park is a peaceful and quiet campground located in Wayne County, GA, just 30 minutes away from the beaches at St Simons Island. The campground offers spacious lots with full hookups, including 30 and 50 AMP hookups, sewer, and water. Guests can enjoy amenities such as shower facilities, fire pits, a laundromat, and a gathering space with a shelter, full kitchen, and picnic tables. Unfortunately, tent sites are not available at this time. Mossy Oaks RV Park partners with Passport America and offers affordable rates. Come 'Stay A Spell' and enjoy the beautiful Oaks of Southern Georgia!
