Eagle Hammock Campground is a top-notch military campground located just 20 minutes from I-95. It offers a secure and peaceful environment, with plenty of amenities and activities to enjoy. The sites are spacious and feature concrete pads, picnic tables, fire pits, and full hookups, including cable TV. The campground also has a community center with a kitchen, card room, and lounge area, as well as free laundry and showers. The lake adjacent to the campground offers fishing with a Georgia license, and the nearby town of St. Marys provides waterfront dining and a ferry to outlying islands. The campground is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is the limited WiFi and the broken dryers in the laundry room.

Eagle Hammock RV Park is a 220-acre RV park located along Lake D in the heart of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. The park offers 60 RV sites with 30/50 AMP full hookups, water, sewer, electric, and cable. The park is pet-friendly and features cement pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and cable. The park is ADA compliant and features community building with a full kitchen, meeting space, and bathhouse. The park also offers free laundry, planned trips and activities, propane, and septic dump. Firearms are not permitted on base. Reservations are accepted 1 year in advance for active duty military and reservists and 6 months in advance for military retirees and DoD civilians. Check-in/out time is 12 noon. ID cards are required upon check-in.
