Grassy Pond Campground is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. The campground is surrounded by beautiful moss-covered trees and lily ponds, making it a peaceful and serene environment. The sites are wide and nicely spaced, with mature trees providing shade, and you can still get TV reception with an antenna. There are plenty of amenities, including sand volleyball, fishing, a rec-room with pool tables and Foosball (for an extra cost), a wading pool, rentals of various boats for the lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, and a common room in the bathhouse complex with a big screen TV and plenty of comfy chairs and couches. There is also a small store located within the park where you can purchase fishing gear and snacks. The only drawback is that there can be inconsiderate dog owners who let their dogs bark incessantly.

Grassy Pond is a campground located in Lake Park, GA, and is open to the public. The campground offers cabins and cottages for rent, as well as pavilions that can be reserved for events. Visitors can enjoy fishing in the pond, which is stocked with bass, catfish, and brim. Boats, including fishing boats, Jon boats, a Deluxe Pontoon Cruiser, canoes, and pedal boats, are available for rent. The campground also features a one-mile nature trail around Lott’s Pond, playgrounds, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, and picnic sites. Pets are allowed in specified living quarters for a non-refundable fee. Grassy Pond is a great place for the whole family to enjoy.
