River Falls At the Gorge is a big rig friendly campground just a mile and a half from Tallulah Gorge State Park. Most of the sites either offer riverfront access or a view of the river surrounded by woods and hills. Trash pickup is available every morning, and the staff are friendly. There is a nice pool, an arcade and a laundry room at the top of the campground. The bathrooms are older, but generally clean. The sewer hook-up can be a bit tricky on some sites, and leveling a coach can be difficult on certain sites. Internet and cable are only available at the clubhouse. While improvements are being made to the campground, amenities like cable and Wi-Fi would make it even better for the price paid. Overall, River Falls At the Gorge is a nice option for campers looking for a peaceful and scenic spot to park their rig.
