Campsites are terraced down a hillside toward the lake, some with a view of the lake. The sites are level and the utilities are in the correct location. There is a $5 entrance fee in addition to the nightly rate. The campground is close to the town of Lavonia, which has everything you need. Tugaloo State Park is a scenic campground located just off I-85 at the Georgia/South Carolina state line. The campground features one large covered pavilion next to a water pipe and fire ring. The sites are terraced down a hillside toward the lake, some with a view of the lake. All interior roads are paved and spots are gravel with a fire ring and huge concrete picnic table. The lakefront sites offer beautiful sunrise and sunset views, and there is a beach area with access to kayaking and swimming. The park also offers many activities, such as scavenger hunts, learning about the local wildlife, and mini golf. The campground is close to the town of Lavonia, which has everything you need. The roads in the loop are a bit narrow but easily navigable with caution, and the bathrooms are a short walk from the sites and were clean during our stay. There is a $5 entrance fee in addition to the nightly rate.
