The Lake Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a complete and hospitable recreation facility in Middle Georgia. It has three public parks: Claystone and Sandy Beach Parks, located on Moseley Dixon Road near I-475, and Arrowhead Park, located on Columbus Road near U.S. 80. Visitors can enjoy fishing, camping, boating, picnicking, and swimming from one of the three white sand beaches. The Tobesofkee Recreation Area also features the Mary Jane Newberry Butterfly Habitat and hosts the annual Sparks Over the Park Independence Day Celebration.
