Lake Tobesofkee Claystone Park is a beautiful campground located on the lake and surrounded by the picturesque scenery of Macon, Georgia. The campground offers a variety of sites, including pull-through FHUs, full hookups with concrete pads, and back-in sites. The park is well-maintained and offers a variety of activities for all ages, including a Frisbee golf course, covered picnic pavilions, beaches, childrens playgrounds, climate controlled pavilion with a view of the beach and lake, full-service marina, and a lake-view restaurant. The campground is also close to restaurants, fast-food places, and shopping. The pull-through sites are spacious and can accommodate large rigs, and the pull-throughs have concrete pads and are the only sites reasonably close to level. The park is undergoing renovations, with 50 amp boxes installed and cable TV on the way. The employees of the registration booth are friendly and helpful, and are willing to extend checkout time to avoid additional fees. With its beautiful lake views, spacious sites, and plenty of activities, Lake Tobesofkee Claystone Park is an excellent value for the low price.

From The Campground
The Lake Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a complete and hospitable recreation facility in Middle Georgia. It has three public parks: Claystone and Sandy Beach Parks, located on Moseley Dixon Road near I-475, and Arrowhead Park, located on Columbus Road near U.S. 80. Visitors can enjoy fishing, camping, boating, picnicking, and swimming from one of the three white sand beaches. The Tobesofkee Recreation Area also features the Mary Jane Newberry Butterfly Habitat and hosts the annual Sparks Over the Park Independence Day Celebration.
