Being close to Macon, TV reception was excellent.. The owner wears a gun on her hip, but feels safe here. The campground is close to many amenities, and the electric service is reliable. There are two shower stalls, coin operated washers and dryers, and spacious pull-through sites with 50/30/20 amp service. The roads are narrow and there is some road noise, but there are enough trees and scenery to make it feel more like nature. Unfortunately, there is a lot of noise from small kids running and screaming, dogs barking, and loud speeding vehicles. The tenants do not take care of the grounds, and there are neglected cats outside 24/7. The owner charged a 50.00 cancellation fee because they were supposed to stay a week and left after the first night.
