This campground is a great spot for an overnight stay. The pull-thru site is dirt but level, and the owner is very welcoming and helpful. The campground host is also very nice and helpful. The only downside is that the trees may scrape the top and sides of motorhomes. There is road construction at the entrance, so visitors should watch for the signs.

Sunset Campground is a quiet, privately-owned park that provides 40 pads, eight tent sites and many activities, especially if you have a love for water sports. The Chauga River and parts of Rice Creek offer whitewater spots. You'll find hiking on the Chattanooga Trail. The campground also offers full hookups, Wi-Fi and Internet on site, a private phone, a table at each campsite, showers, restrooms, laundry and horseshoes.
