Scenic Mountain RV Park & Campground is a large and beautiful campground with mostly full-time RVers. The grounds are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The roads are steep, but the paved surfaces make them easy to navigate. The sites are gravel and spacious with picnic tables and fire rings, and many back up to the forest. The park is pet-friendly, with a nice, albeit small, dog park. There are plenty of walking trails, and the scenery is stunning, especially from the top of the mountain where some sites offer a breathtaking view. The facilities are excellent with 8 bathhouses, laundry, propane, and two dog washing stations. While there is no water park or amusement area here, many activities can still be enjoyed such as hiking, fishing, and picnicking. There are also plenty of places to get food and supplies nearby. Overall, Scenic Mountain RV Park & Campground is a nice and relaxing place to stay for a weekend away.

Welcome to Scenic Mountain RV Resort, where one day is never enough to explore all we have to offer! Nestled in the rolling hills just south of downtown Milledgeville, Georgia, our 112-acre RV park and campground await! Conveniently located near Highway 441 Bypass, we're a short drive from Macon, and a comfortable 90-mile drive southeast of bustling Atlanta. Our spacious park boasts 83 full hook-up camping sites equipped with 20/30/50 amp electrical service as well as amenities like a bathhouse, coin laundry, pavilions, and a swimming pool, complete with a soothing temperature-controlled whirlpool. Our campground offers paved roads and gravel sites, some with concrete patios, along with picnic tables and fire rings at most sites. Explore the great outdoors on our nature hiking trails, or try your luck fishing in one of our six scenic ponds. Pet owners will love our fenced dog run, and the park welcomes big rigs with pull-thru sites accommodating rigs up to 90 feet long. Shaded sites and spacious areas for slide-outs provide added comfort. As for nearby attractions, you'll find yourself conveniently close to the scenic Oconee River Greenway, where you can enjoy leisurely walks or bike rides along the riverbanks. Lake Sinclair, a picturesque reservoir perfect for boating and fishing, is just a short drive away. And nature lovers will appreciate the proximity to the serene Bartram Forest, where you can enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the area.
