What others are saying about this campground
The sites are well spaced out and have plenty of trees for shade. The bathrooms and showers are a bit of a walk, but they are kept clean and in good condition. The views of the lake are stunning, and there is a variety of hiking trails nearby. The drive into the campground is about 5 miles from the main state road, but the roads are wide and in good condition. This is a great spot for families who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy some peace and quiet. The sites are well-maintained and have all the necessary hookups for a comfortable stay. There is plenty of room for larger RVs, and the water pressure is great. The dump station is located at the bottom end of the campground, and the drive out can be a bit tricky for larger rigs. Overall, this campground is a great spot for families who want to enjoy the beauty of Carters Lake and the surrounding area.
