This campground is conveniently located just south of Chattanooga, Tennessee, making it a great base for exploring the areas many historical and tourist attractions. It features pull-through sites, a pool, a dog park, a playground, a covered pavilion and meeting room with a full kitchen, a camp store, and laundry facilities. The roads are tight and in poor shape with many potholes, but the entrance is wide and paved. The campground is also close to shopping, restaurants, and the interstate. The campground is mostly quiet during the week, but can be noisy on the weekends due to nearby drag racing. The store is stocked with necessities and there is an ice machine and firewood for sale. There is no cable TV, but there are several over the air broadcast stations available. The campground is clean and well-maintained, but due to the lack of trees, it can get very hot during the summer. The WiFi service is not sufficient for the number of people, and the metered sites can be expensive.
