Cherokee Campground is a peaceful and relaxing campground located just outside of Helen, GA in the North Georgia Mountains. The campground is less crowded than nearby state parks and offers full hook-up sites with 30, 50 amp or both, cable (about 60 channels), and WIFI. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and provide fire rings and wood, a nice patio, a playground for the kids, large pavilion, and social hall. The campground also offers a communal dumpster, fireworks several times a year, and level sites. Verizon and AT&T have marginal cell service, but this is expected in the mountains. Prices are very reasonable at only $25 a night.

Cherokee Campground is a year-round RV park located in the North Georgia mountains, just 5 miles from historic Helen, GA. The campground offers 38 wooded lots with 30/50 Amp service, water, sewer, cable TV, and Internet WiFi. Tent sites are also available with electric and water. Amenities include a basketball court, tetherball, recreation hall with big screen TV, table tennis, game tables, and darts, horseshoes, shuffleboard, play field, children's playground area with a brand-new pirate ship, and a scenic picnic area with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Nearby attractions include Helen, GA, Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, BabyLand General Hospital, Brasstown Bald Scenic Overlook, and Lake Burton. There are also several fine and casual dining establishments surrounding the campground.
