Creekwood Campground is the perfect adult-only getaway in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. Located close to the Bavarian village of Helen and Tallulah Gorge, the campground is in a peaceful setting with only the sounds of birds to disturb you. Each site has a concrete pad and gravel picnic area, full hookups, a stone-ringed fire pit and cable TV. There is also a dog park on top of the hill with a doggie water fountain for your four-legged friends. The hosts, Melissa and Robert Sullivan, are friendly, helpful and gracious people who will make sure you have everything you need. They even have special events like a meet and greet type party and a New Years Eve pot luck with a white elephant gift exchange. The campground is also centrally located, allowing you to explore the nearby towns of Dahlonega, Blue Ridge and Ellijay with their shops, restaurants and sights. Be sure to bring cash or check as they prefer those, and there is a 3% charge for credit cards.
