The campground is in a beautiful location and the staff is friendly and helpful. The sites are a bit tight and the roads are in need of repair, but overall its a great place to stay. Stone Mountain Park Campground is a world-renowned destination located just outside of Atlanta. The campground offers a wide range of sites and prices, from electric and sewer hookups to primitive sites, cabins, drive-thrus, back-ins, lakefronts, and more. Each site comes with a deck, grill with propane tank, picnic table, and fire pit. The campground is surrounded by beautiful views of Stone Mountain and the lake, and is close to hiking and other activities. There is a golf course, stone mountain laser light show, trails to hike, an area for children to explore, and much more. The campground is also known for its fireworks and laser show, and is a great place for families to take their bikes or simply walk. The roads are in need of repaving and the sites are often uneven, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The campground also offers laundry facilities and Wi-Fi access.
