Rivers End Campground & RV Park in Tybee Island, GA is a great place to stay. The park is clean and well-supervised, with lovely grounds. The bathrooms are large, clean, and functional with plenty of hot water. The individual shower/toilet rooms are a nice touch. The campground is an easy bike ride from the lighthouse, the beach, and dinner. The onsite water tower is a great landmark and can be seen from surrounding islands. Though the sites are close together, there is a sense of privacy. The dog park is well maintained and a great way to meet locals. River Beach is a short walk down Polk Ave and is closer than Tybee North Beach. Early morning traffic can be noisy due to the parks proximity to the street. We enjoyed using bikes to tour the island and driving to Fort Polaski. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we would stay here again. Be sure to book early as this campground is popular.

From The Campground
River’s End Campground is a fantastic home base for exploring Tybee Island, often referred to as Savannah’s Beach, which offers visitors a place for all seasons with sandy beaches, great fishing, and rich history at every turn. The campground is just a few short blocks from the beach (approx. 1/2 mile) and an easy 15 mile drive to historic downtown Savannah. River's End Campground offers budget-friendly cabin rentals, Tybee Island's largest swimming pool, an office and gift shop, and is close to local attractions such as the Tybee Pier & Pavilion and Tybee Lighthouse & Museum. The facilities are clean and the sites spacious. The staff is very personable.
