This campground is located in the small town of Whitesburg, GA, not far from I-85 and I-20. The park is gated and well-maintained, with a 4-star restaurant and a wonderful gourmet menu. The RV park part of the property is less well-staffed and cared for than the lodges and zip line tours, but the sites are quiet, well situated and shaded in the full hookups part of the park. Check in is a confusing process - you have to call from the gate for help, then get less than complete instructions, but from a nice, friendly guy. There is no recycling at all. There are zip lines and suspension bridges all over the place, and a lodge with free coffee and tea. There is a pool, which is clean and good sized, and lots of little trails and historic hiking trails. The highlight of the stay is the zip line canopy tour, which is one of the longest and highest in the world. The campground also has a day spa and adventure treks, but you need to make advance reservations. There are some long term campers, but they keep their sites clean and are friendly. The road to the campground is paved and only the site loops are gravel. Overall, this is a great place to stay for a relaxing weekend, but it is not for those looking for posh amenities.
