The camp store is well-stocked with fishing gear and rental movies. The campground has 25 RV sites, 5 tent sites, and four waterfront cabins. Wi-Fi and rental motors and boats are available at the office. The owners live on-site, are very friendly, and go out of their way to ensure everyone has a great camping visit. The camping rate reflects Passport America discount, and seven days or more is $18. However, the sites are very crowded, and there is lots of dust due to the dirt sites. Additionally, there are millions of flies due to the close proximity of horses and their by-products. The swimming pool is indoor and seemed clean, but the dressing rooms for the swimming pool were fair. Visitors who prefer spacious sites and dislike dirt and flies may not enjoy camping at Glens Cove.

From The Campground

The Smoky Mountain Campground is located near the east entrance of City of Rocks National Reserve and is part of Castle Rocks State Park. The campground offers 38 pet-friendly campsites with 30 amp electrical service, water service, partial shade, picnic tables, and vehicle pads. There are also facilities for equestrian campers. Three restrooms are available, and a shower facility is located in the center of the campground. Recycling stations are located near the shower house and site 31. The campground also features an RV dump station. Lodge, bunkhouse, and glamping yurt are available to rent.
