GenieSummary

This campground is an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts looking to enjoy the beauty of the St. Joe River and the Clearwater Mountains. It is conveniently located 29 miles out of St. Maries, Idaho, and just south of Lake Coeur dAlene. The campground books up quickly, so it is best to make reservations in advance. Each campsite has electricity, water, and a sewer dump, as well as a picnic table and fire pit. There is a dump station inside the park, and the outhouses are clean. WiFi is available, but it is slow and only reaches the hosts campsite. Cell phone service is not available up the entire St. Joe River. During the spring run off, the sound of the river can be heard from the campsites. In July, there is a path down to a private river access. During weekends and holidays, the campground can be noisy.
