This campground is situated in a beautiful canyon, with a creek running alongside the campsites and amazing rock formations surrounding the area. There are 10 campsites, each with a covered picnic table and fire ring. The campground is located near the Perrine Bridge and the Snake River Gorge, and is a great spot for a weekend getaway. Campers can take advantage of the fire pits, vault toilets, and horseshoe pits. The nearby Balanced Rock is a short car drive or medium walk away and is definitely worth a visit. The campground is suitable for tents, RVs, and van campers, and is free of charge. Unfortunately, the area can be quite windy due to the canyon walls, and the flies can be quite bad. There is no cell or wifi service, and the fish in the creek are small and bony.
