Challis Hot Springs & RV Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground on several acres right on the Salmon River. The grounds are immaculately groomed and green, with large lawns of watered grass. The natural hot springs pools are great, with a larger pool at about 99 degrees and a smaller, hotter pool at about 106 degrees. The stone bottoms in the pools are naturally smooth and easy on the feet. The tent spaces are really nice, and the RV sites are level, graveled, and come with power and water. There is also a dump station as you exit. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The park is peaceful and quiet with plenty of open space. The walking trail on the property is a nice touch. AT&T coverage is good, with 3 bars of LTE and decent speeds, though the Wi-Fi is not always reliable. The campsites are clean, and the showers are well-maintained. Overall, Challis Hot Springs & RV Park is a wonderful, clean, and well-run campground with beautiful natural hot springs pools.
