From The Campground
Mill Creek Campground is a small but popular campground located near Challis and along the Custer Motorway. It offers eight camping units with picnic tables and fire rings, as well as a larger site for group camping. The campground amenities include a vault toilet and hand pump for drinking water. No garbage collection service is available. ATV use is allowed on Forest Roads only - no riding within the campground. Nearby access to Mill Creek offers rainbow trout fishing, and the motorized trail to the east of the campground leads south to Bayhorse Lake campground and trail system.
