The interior roads are wide and paved, making it easy to maneuver even large rigs. The sites are level and angled, making parking a breeze. There is plenty of room between neighboring RVs, giving you more privacy than the average RV park. The campground is centrally located in town, so you can get to just about anything you need in minutes. When booking online, you can pick a long site if you need one. There is a large amount of grass between sites, and the utilities all work very well. The campground hosts do a great job of raking and sweeping the sites between uses. There are plenty of choices for food and grocery within a couple of miles. The park is next to a fairground and a school, and is surrounded by a large wire fence except for the entrance and exits. The sites have full hookups and are in the middle of the sites. There is a decent amount of Verizon hotspot and cell reception, as well as plenty of antenna TV stations. The water pressure is good, and the hookups are all new and in great condition. There is no park store, but there are plenty of nearby shopping and dining options. The campground hosts are friendly and helpful, and will provide information about events going on at the fairgrounds.

Kootenai County Fairgrounds RV Park is located in the heart of Coeur d'Alene and features 83 acres of greenspace, barns, and event space. The RV park is open from April 1 to October 15 and offers full hookups (water, sewer, and electrical) and pull-through spaces. There are 34 available RV sites and 3 tent sites. The campground includes free showers and restrooms, and WiFi is available. Leashed dogs and other domestic pets are allowed, but no horses are allowed in the RV park. Horse stalling is available nearby for $15 per night per horse. Maximum stay is two weeks/14 days.
