From The Campground

Five Mile Campground is a family-friendly campground located in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. The campground is situated in open, tall timber and is near a fishing and swimming pond (Five Mile Pond), has a creek flowing by the site, and has easy access to Crooked River. The campground is open year-round, but might not be accessible because of snow. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and there is no fee. The campground is a great starting point for big game hunting and fishing in nearby Five Mile Pond. Vault toilets are available on-site, but garbage services are not available. Visitors are required to pack it in and pack it out.
