The grounds are well-maintained and watered regularly, making it a very attractive spot. The park has a few drawbacks, such as the auto-sprinkler system which can spray water on your belongings if the wind is blowing, and the steep banks which make fishing impossible. However, the park is quiet and remote, and offers great views of the Ririe Reservoir, lush green farmland, and giant white windmills in the distance. The park is dog-friendly, and offers activities such as boating, biking, and basketball. Rates are only $30 per night, and the campground is open until the end of October. The park host is friendly and helpful, and will check in on your experience throughout your stay. With its great location, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent amenities, Juniper Campground is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or longer stay.

From The Campground

Juniper Campground is located in Bonneville County, Idaho and provides an opportunity for summer recreation such as boating, waterskiing, fishing and camping. The campground has 60 RV campsites with full hookups and 3 loops, each with clean, safe on-site restrooms. Handicapped accessible restrooms are also available. The campground is open from May 15 through October 1. Blacktail Park and the Juniper Campground are the only public access points to the Ririe Reservoir. Benchland Park and Willow Point Park are two boat-access only parks located on the reservoir between Juniper Campground and Blacktail Park. Both provide shelters, picnic tables, fire rings, and a grassy area, and are a pleasant place to stop and picnic, enjoy the water, take a boating break or stay overnight. No reservations are required for overnight camping.
