This campground is situated right along the Snake River, offering beautiful views and easy access to the river. It features picnic tables, BBQs, and fire pits at each site, some of which are right on the water. It also has basic flush toilets, a boat launch, and a bike path that leads to the downtown Riverwalk area. Unfortunately, it can be quite noisy due to traffic and a very loud train that passes by a few times during the night. There is a campground host and basic sanitary facilities, as well as a potable water and a dump station. The sites are huge and easy to access, and the park is well groomed. However, there can be noise from the train and sprinkler system at night. There are also fishermen who dont respect site boundaries. The park is centrally located and day use is free.

South Tourist Park is a first-come, first-serve campground that is open for camping from April to October, weather permitting. The campground offers dry camping with no hookups for $18 per night for campers, RVs, or tents. However, the park does have a dump station. Reservations are not accepted, so visitors are encouraged to call ahead for information.
