From The Campground

Calamity Campground is located in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest and offers camping, picnicking, and water activities such as motorized and non-motorized boating, swimming, waterskiing, and windsurfing. The campground has 11 designated camp areas and a free self-issue permit is required. Camping is prohibited within a Bald Eagle Habitat area. Fire pans are required and all ash needs to be packed out. There are three day-use areas available for picnicking. The campground offers tent camping, parking for single and trailered vehicles, picnic tables, toilets, and a boat ramp. The difficulty level ranges from easy to difficult.
