Sawtelle Campground is a nice spot for visitors to Yellowstone, located close to the highway with lots of trees providing plenty of shade. The campground has full hookups and restroom facilities with showers, as well as an indoor heated pool. However, the RV sites are not well maintained and the trees are very thick, making it difficult to maneuver a large rig. The Wi-Fi signal is weak and cable TV is not available. Water pressure is low and the bath house has no water at certain times of the year. The staff at the campground is friendly, but the overall attitude of the people working there is poor. The price is reasonable, but due to the lack of amenities and poor maintenance, it is not recommended for those with large rigs.
