GenieSummary

We were told to just fill in the holes in the gravel. Water pressure is low, sewer connection is high. This campground is located near the Snake River, with a large grassy area and a dirt road leading in. The owners are an older couple who are very friendly and helpful. The RV sites are quite tight and it is difficult to deploy awnings or have an outside seating area. The park includes full hookups, but the water is of poor quality and smells strongly of iron. The restrooms were reasonably clean but the shower stalls were very dirty. There are several long-term campers with older run-down trailers, which give the park a run-down appearance. Dogs are not allowed on the lawn. The closest grocery store, restaurants, and freeway are a 30 minute drive away. The park is small and in poor condition, and only accepts check or cash payments. It is a good place to stay overnight, but not ideal for a longer stay.

From The Campground

River Haven R.V. Park is an oasis on the river located in the Wine Country of Owyhee County. Enjoy the serene views of the river, mountains and the wildlife that occupy them. The park rests along the bank of the Snake River where you can enjoy fishing for sturgeon (catch and release), trout, big mouth bass and cat fish. The park offers a bath/shower house, laundromat, fire pits, large grass relaxation area, 30-50 Amp hook ups.
