This campground is a 10/10 in terms of its amenities and staff. It features spacious sites with beautiful trees, great access to hiking and biking trails, and a lodge with an indoor pool and spa, exercise facilities, private shower and bath rooms, and free popcorn. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they offer daily trash pick-up and propane fill services. The sites are 70 long gravel with concrete pads, lovely round picnic tables, and a bit of grass. The park is located on the Payette River and is near the local airport, so expect to hear the sound of small aircraft early in the morning. The park is also near the US Forest Service McCall Smokejumper Base and is surrounded by wildlife such as deer, foxes, and moose. It is a great spot for a mountain getaway and offers a variety of activities such as fishing, walking, and exploring the local town of McCall.
