What others are saying
This campground is located 10 miles off the interstate and is a bargain for RVers. It is a small campground with only 9 (or 6) spaces for transient campers and a gravel dry camp area. The sites are level with concrete pads and paved roads, but the surrounding area is covered in goat head stickers and burrs. There is no grass, just sparse weeds and a whole lot of dirt. The long term campers do not keep their sites neat, and there are ground dwelling rodents everywhere. The bathrooms have no toilet paper and the showers have not worked in weeks. The laundry room is good but bring your own change because there is no place to get quarters. The wind brings trash in the park and there is no one to pick it up. The camp host is friendly and attentive to the property, but the campground is in desperate need of attention. The price cant be beat, but it is not convenient for an overnight stop due to its location.

From The Campground
FamCamp is a year-round campground located on Mountain Home Air Force Base. It is restricted to authorized military ID Card Holders, their families, and authorized guests. The campground offers RV sites with full hook-ups for $21/night, overflow sites for $12/night, and tent sites for $10/night. Coin-operated washers and dryers are available in the shower/laundry building. Computer access is available at the Base Library. There are several computers that you can use or, if you have a laptop, they have wireless internet which you may use. Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after immediately. Outdoor cooking is permitted in the provided grills or you may use your own. The campground has a dump station for your convenience.
