Lake is nice and there’s a lot of wildlife. This campground is a great place for fishing and exploring the nearby waterfalls in Twin and Caldren Lynn. Its a great spot for van or camper camping, but not suitable for larger vehicles. Generators can be loud, but the surrounding scenery is beautiful. There is a strong pastoral smell (cow?) in the air when it is still. The campground is well-maintained, with full toilet paper rolls and clean composting toilets. Tent camping is only $5/night, and RV spots with hookups are only $15/night. There are huge grass areas, lake access, and picnic tables and grills available. There are no RV dump stations, but they are not far away. The lake is beautiful and there is plenty of wildlife. Bring bug spray for the evenings.
