50 amp FHU pull-throughs are available, but the park is nothing more than a large gravel parking lot. The park is well lit and security is excellent. There is a dump station and restrooms with showers, but no Wi-Fi or cable. Bannock County Fairgrounds RV Park in Pocatello is a great, cost-effective place to stay in the area. It features about 125 sites with 50 amp FHU pull-throughs on a large gravel parking lot. The sites are well-kept grass and fairly close together, but should have plenty of room on any other except event weeks. The park is well lit and security is excellent. There is a dump station and restrooms with showers, but no Wi-Fi or cable. Guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the town and Snake River Valley below, as well as nightly small local horse events in the indoor rodeo arena. It is easy to set up a profile on their website and then call to make a reservation. Dogs are allowed to roam free, however, cigarette butts have been found on the shower floor and some trash scattered about the entire restroom area. Overall, it is a great place to stay for an overnight stay or two and is quite a bargain.
