From The Campground

Trapper Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground located on the northeast shore of Upper Priest Lake in Idaho. It has five sites with beautiful views of Plowboy Mountain, all furnished with fire rings, picnic tables, and bear-proof storage boxes. The campground has a Pack It In, Pack It Out policy on all garbage. There is no fee required to use this site. The campground is accessible by boat or trail, and the Upper Priest Lake Trail #302 offers a pleasant, easy hike to Upper Priest Lake. The first four miles of the trail are in timber cover until you reach the lake where it then opens up and follows the shoreline until reaching Trapper Creek Campground. The campground is operated by the U.S. Forest Service.
