Snake River Hideout RV is a campground located just south of Rexburg, Idaho, off Highway 20. It is a great place to use as a base camp to explore the area, with easy access off the highway and nestled among a lot of trees for privacy. The sites are decent size, gravel with grass in between, and full hookup (30 & 50 amp). There are public wood and propane fire pits and picnic tables available, as well as a small laundry room. The campground is not very big rig friendly, with narrow, dirt roads and sites that are in the sun, but it is a great place for a stopover. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the park is stocked with interesting items for sale. It is a quiet spot with cows and open fields, and Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Tetons, Island Park, Rexberg, and other places of interest are a day drive away. There are no amenities, but the serene setting makes it a great place to take walks with your pets.
