From The Campground
The RV Landing is a riverfront full-service RV park and cabins located on the Salmon River. The park is situated within the Carlson family ranch, which has been in operation since the 1920s. The RV park offers full-service RV sites and dry cabins, as well as a vacation cabin. Guests can enjoy campfires, kayaking, rafting, fishing, hiking, ATV/UTV trails, jet boating, wildlife viewing, swimming, and sandy beaches. The park also features a bathhouse and RV pads that sit in a field that used to be used for lambing sheep and a cattle pen. The buildings along the river were used to house the sheep and their newborn lambs during the first couple of weeks of their life. The buildings across the road from the RV park were the “cook” and “bunk” house. The corral in between the buildings on the river was called the “night corral.”
