Round Lake Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained campground located near Silverwood theme park. The sites are spacious and offer plenty of shade, with each site including a picnic table and fire pit. The camp visitor center is a great place for kids to learn about the local wildlife, and they also have boards and games to rent. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and are very clean, and there are free showers available. The campground is surrounded by a peaceful and beautiful lake, with a well-maintained walking trail that circles the lake. There is also a beach area and plenty of fishing opportunities. The campground is quite crowded and sites are close together, but many are empty during the week. The hookups are functional but not always stable, so it may not be the best option for car camping in cold weather. Overall, Round Lake Campground is a great place to stay and offers plenty of recreational opportunities.
From The Campground
Round Lake State Park is a beautiful forested park in the northern panhandle of Idaho. It sits on the edge of a 58-acre lake where flocks of Canada geese pass over towering pine, hemlock and larch trees and ospreys plunge for perch. Hikers will discover beaver lodges and may see a glimpse of a resident moose, while anglers listen to a chorus of bullfrogs, ducks and Red-winged Blackbirds, as they cast for rainbow trout or bass. Round Lake offers many standard campsites and 16 serviced sites with water and electricity, plenty of shade, and scenic beauty.
