It offers large pull-through sites with full hookups and electric/water sites with grassy areas for walking dogs. The campground is clean and modern, with a laundry room, showers, and bathrooms onsite. It is a quiet and peaceful spot, perfect for those looking to relax and enjoy nature. While there is no store or cafe onsite yet, the owners are conscious of leaving space between sites and keeping their gravel clean. The campground is well-situated for hiking Goldbug Hot Springs, although it is 22 miles from Salmon, which means a 44 mile round trip to stock up, go rafting, or take advantage of the fun things going on in Salmon.

From The Campground
Elk Bend RV Park is located just south of Salmon, Idaho on one of the most scenic drives in the western United States. The park is famous for its wildlife, including eagles, deer, big horn sheep, and mountain goats. The river is just across the street and is great for floating and fly fishing. The famous Goldbug Hot Springs Trailhead is a short drive (1.3 miles) then a 2 mile hike away. Elk Bend RV Park is open from March 15th to November 15th.
