GenieSummary

This BLM campground is a great destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Located on the way to Bear Lake, the campground is hard to find as there are no signs on the highway. It is a first-come, first-served campground with a drop box for payments and random water faucets. There are 15 sites with electric and water hookups and shade pavilions, as well as improved sites with electric hook-ups, picnic tables, and fire pits with grills. The campground is on high ground and cell service works. There is a resident moose family, as well as birds, fox, and mule deer. The lake is beautiful and good for fishing, and the area is very quiet at night. Vault toilets are available and very clean. The campground is closed in October, but the gate was open when we stayed for free.
