From The Campground
Mt. Heyburn Campground is a first-come, first-serve campground located on the east side of Redfish Lake in the Sawtooth National Forest. The campground offers 19 campsites in a lodgepole pine forest, with amenities such as picnic tables, toilets, and drinking water. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including fishing, hiking, boating, swimming, and waterskiing. The campground also features equestrian stables, a dump station, and boat rentals at Redfish Lake Lodge. Three small playgrounds are provided for children in the campground. The area is also home to the interpretive Fishhook Nature Trail and a section of the Idaho Centennial Trail.
