The campground offers a range of activities, from boating and fishing to bike trails and swimming. There is a centrally located field for play, along with a basketball court and horseshoe pits. The restroom facilities are clean and individual-use rooms with toilet, sink, and shower in each. There is also a large shower and small sink for washing up. The campground is conveniently located near Rt 75, but there is some noise from traffic and trains. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful, and the Saturday evening educational program conducted by a park ranger is a great bonus. With its clean facilities, plenty of activities, and great staff, Dam West at Carlyle Lake is the perfect place for a weekend getaway.
